The Fusion Splicer INNO Instrument M9+ is a new, compact, and efficient core-aligning fusion splicer. The device is best suited for use in access network and backbone network installations.
The INNO Instrument M9+ is compact enough for installation in tight fiber-to-the-home setups, yet precise enough for backbone network splicing. It is therefore the perfect partner for companies performing fiber fusion splicing in varying conditions.
Typically, core-aligning fiber fusion splicers are required for operator backbone network installations. The M9+ is also excellently suited for this purpose.
The standard configuration of the device includes the following parts:
Fiber Fusion Splicer Battery Fiber Cleaver (e.g., V12 or V10 Pro) Spare electrodes E-70 Fiber cleaning solution refill bottle Fiber stripping pliers INNO Instrument revamped its entire fiber fusion splicer lineup at the beginning of 2024. The new lineup includes the following models:
View 8X – core-aligning, 500 splices and sleeve shrinking View 5X – core-aligning, 300 splices and sleeve shrinking View 3X – cladding-aligning, 300 splices and sleeve shrinking M9+ – core-aligning, 200 splices and sleeve shrinking M7+ – cladding-aligning, 200 splices and sleeve shrinking Despite its size, the M9+ features a generous touchscreen display and naturally speaks Finnish. All models come with an IoT module and GPS tracking. The devices’ locations can be monitored and even remotely locked if necessary in case of theft.
